Once accepted into our program, dogs are welcome to stay as long as it takes. Through positive reinforcement, slow integration into playgroups, basic training sessions, and practice out in the community, our goal is to help them find their inner canine happiness! With constant observation and hands on interaction, we get to know them inside and out before placing them into forever loving homes. The average length of stay is 3 to 4 months. Please see details below.

For the Community:

Day Camp: Socialize Me Please!

$20 per day (10:00am-3:00 or 11:00-4:00)

Your dog will learn basic commands, improve their leash walking skills, take group walks with other dogs and enjoy slow integration into playgroups. Specialized training is available. We're here to help shelter dogs gain confidence, expand their social circle and develop a good basic foundation of training. Got that in the bag? Advanced training is available such as a confidence course, agility, improved recall, customized games and/or training specific to the needs of your dog. Space is limited.

Re-homing services: A New Direction!

We understand, life happens. We're here to help. This service focuses on helping already adopted dogs find new homes. Whether you are going through a difficult time, discovering that your dog may not be the right fit for your family, or you've been fostering a dog for a group that is no longer able to accept the dog back. Contact us to learn more about the re-homing process. We do not care about age, breed, size or medical condition. All are welcome. Space is limited.

Requirements: In person evaluation to confirm the dog is a good candidate for re-homing. Dog must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. A signed re-homing agreement is required.

Day Camp requirement for re-homing dogs: In order for us to find a proper home for your dog, we require that they attend Day Camp (number of days required will depend on complexity of the dog, history and behavior). Once we commit to helping a dog, we commit to them for life. We don't back out, change our minds or quit. We politely ask for your commitment and patience as we work hard to assist you.

What can you expect from us? Professional photos, marketing, screening potential adopters, handling visitations, observing dog to dog meet and greets, in-home checks, behavior help and training provided to the adopter for the life of the dog, follow up post-adoption and updates. Upon successful placement of the dog, a donation in the amount of your choice would be very much appreciated in return for the time, money and professional services we invest in helping you, your dog and the adopter throughout the process.

Over Night Pittie Parties: It's a Sleepover!

$25 per night (or every 24 hour period)

Headed out of town? We welcome all breeds, all ages, and all sizes, for a sleepover while their parents are away! Drop off and pick up times must fall within the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm. Text message updates available! During the day, your dog will participate in Day Camp. Bring the dog, food, and medications. Leave the bedding, toys, treats, leashes, TLC and exercise to us!
